Web Client, Basics

Nowadays "Web Capability" is a necessity, as it is one of the simplest and fastest solutions to access different applications. By the means of the WinCC OA Web Client WinCC OA supports the visualization and operation of WinCC OA panels within all common web browsers on personal computers or selective mobile end devices (notebooks, netbooks) that are connected to the network.

From technical point of view the WinCC OA Web Client is a plugin, which is downloaded via the web browser (which is used on the client) and then displays a WinCC OA UI manager embedded in the HTML web site. Thus, a WinCC OA installation on the client computer is not required (except the needed Web Client plugin).
